Winter Season Boat Operations
During the winter season, our fishing boats are not available for self-drive rental. Due to weather conditions, safety considerations, and seasonal operations, the boats are instead dedicated exclusively to skippered transfers for ski touring and backcountry skiing.
These guided boat transfers provide safe and efficient access to remote mountain areas around the fjords, allowing skiers to reach exceptional ski terrain that is otherwise inaccessible during winter.
All winter boat operations are conducted by experienced local skippers, with safety as the highest priority. Fishing boat rentals resume again during the summer season.

Our fishing boats from Norwegian ‘Kvaernø Boats’ are self-draining, have high sides, are easy to keep clean, require minimal maintenance, and are solid and seaworthy boats.
The boats are nearly identical, with slight variations in engine type, navigation equipment (GPS & Sonar), and fuel system design. They are designed to be easy and safe to use for everyone.
