Our Story
Ersfjordbotn Brygge began as a fishing destination on the edge of Ersfjorden, on the island of Kvaløya. What started with a few simple apartments and boats for anglers has grown into a complete Arctic base — but the spirit remains the same.
More Than a Place to Stay
We are not just accommodation. We are a fjordside base for Northern Lights, fishing, Arctic floating, private boat tours, skiing, hiking and year-round experiences near Tromsø. Guests come for the fishing and stay for the mountains, the light and the silence of the fjord.
The Location
Ersfjordbotn sits where the fjord meets steep mountains on Kvaløya, just 20 minutes from Tromsø Airport and 25–30 minutes from the city centre. It is one of the most accessible wilderness locations in Northern Norway — and one of the most beautiful.
